Violiste Ida Haendel uit documentaire ‘I am the Violin’ overleden.
De Pools-Britse violiste Ida Haendel is gisteren overleden. Ze is minstens 91 jaar geworden: haar echte leeftijd is niet bekend. Als klein meisje speelde ze al uitzonderlijk goed viool en heeft dit op podia wereldwijd tot na haar tachtigste gedaan. Regisseur Paul Cohen maakte in 2004 een film over haar.
